Erlotinib Tablets IP 150mg Tablet is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. Erleva 150mg Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach or should be taken one hour before or 2 hour after meal.  You should continue to take it as long as your doctor advises it. The duration of treatment varies according to your needs and response to treatment. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, rash, and weight loss. It may cause severe diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids or consult with your doctor if it bothers you. It makes you sensitive towards sunlight, hence wear protective clothing or use sunscreen while going out. • Zecyte is a CYP17 inhibitor indicated- For the treatment of patients with metastatic CRPC who have received prior chemotherapy containing docetaxel in combination with prednisone, For the treatment of metastatic CRPC in adult men who are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic after failure of androgen deprivation therapy in whom chemotherapy is not clinically indicated, with prednisone or prednisolone

Dosage:

• The recommended dose of Zecyte Tab is 1000mg (four 250mg tablets) administered orally once daily in combination with Prednisone 5mg administered orally twice daily.  tablets must be taken on an empty stomach. No food should be consumed for at least 2 hours before the dose of Zecyte tablets taken and for at least 1 hour after the dose of Zecyte tablets is taken. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and not to be crushed or chewed. It is highly advisable to administer the drug under strict medical supervision and advice.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Abiraterone acetate may cause hypertension, hypokalaemia and fluid retention as a consequence of increased mineralocorticoid levels resulting from CYP17 inhibition. In the two randomized clinical trials, grade 3 to 4 hypertension occurred in 2% of patients, grade 3 to 4 hypokalaemia in 4% of patients, and grade 3 to 4 oedema in 1% of patients treated with abiraterone acetate.
