Cadilap 250mg Tablet consists of the active ingredient Lapatinib. It is indicated in combination with other medicines to treat advanced breast cancer in whom hormonal therapy is required. It is active against the rapidly spreading cancer cells that produce large quantities of a protein called human epidermal growth receptor – 2 and cells that are sensitive to hormones.
Side effects of Cadilap 250mg Tablet include tiredness, stomach pain, diarrhea, heart problems, etc. Report to your physician right away at the first sign of diarrhea to prevent dehydration and other complications. If you experience diarrhea while taking this medicine, drink plenty of fluids, eat low-fat, high protein foods, avoid milk and milk products and herbal supplements.
